How to add images and product information to your quote based on selecting the item in your quotation
In this section we will look at adding in some highlights for a product and how to add these in to the layer. We'll also cover how to upload an image to the product and how this will appear on the price list.
How to add product specification
- Select settings at the top of the screen
- Select mobile from under inventory management
- Select the product that you wish to add the details in for, by clicking on the handset name.
- In the first tab named “product profile” under the section named “core details” you will see the last section named product description.Click here to add all the product specification you would like to pull through to the quotes. You are able to complete this by free typing here what you would like.
How to upload an image
- Select image from the top row of commands
- You are now able to drag and drop your image from your files into the product information.
Once you have added the image this will appear on the left hand side of your screen.
How to add product highlights
- Select the product highlight tab at the top
- Click on the button ‘new highlight’ on the top left
- Add key selling feature of the handsets here e.g. Camera 8MP
- You can also chose an order in which you wish the highlights to appear on the quote.
- And finally save your selection by clicking the blue tick.
And save the screen.
The highlights of the handset will appear on the quotation when selected on the quote.
In order for this information to appear on your quote you will need to have the specific page included on the quote.
The page is called ‘Hardware breakdown’.
How to select the right quote
If you wish to have all this information detailed in your quote, ensure that you have selected the relevant template.
To select a different quote template simply click configure in the quotation screen and select preferred template.
For our example we have selected “EE Output Template”. If you then generate a preview you will be able to see the details that will be sent to the customer.
If your existing quotation templates do not have the hardware breakdown page, please contact your support team who will be able to advise you further.
