How to change the status of quote (not won) from lost, quoted, cancelled and open.

In this article we will demonstrate how to amend the status of a quotation which has been marked as above.

Step 1: Locate and select the quotation

There are a number of different methods of locating the quotation, in this example we will make the assumption that you are unaware of the clients reference number.  We will complete the search using the client’s business name.

Enter the companies name into the global search bar and select enter.  You will then be presented with a list of all your clients with the name you have entered in this example we are using Ruby Red.

Once you have identified the client’s account you wish to open, simply click on the company name. 


Step 2:  Select your quotation

You will now see the client’s information in front of you, select quotes from the top bar as indicated below.


In this example you will see the quote has been marked as quoted

Select the quote by clicking on the quote reference

From the quotation page please select configure as highlighted below


Step 3: Amend your quotations status

To make amendments to the status of a quotation please select the drop down arrow next to the existing status shown below

You will now be presented with the following options:

  • Expired
  • Cancelled
  • Draft
  • Quoted
  • Open
  • Won

In this example we will change the status to lost by selecting lost from the drop down and then selecting save at the bottom right of your screen

Step 4: Confirming the amendment

Now close the quote by selecting the close button highlighted above.

You will be presented with a popup at the top of your screen to check if you wish to update the value of the associated opportunity, select OK, shown below. 

You will now see the status of your quotation has been updated to reflect your change
