Uploading files against a customer or lead record

Users can also store any files that are relevant to a lead or customer record in the Layer, such:

 * Customer Correspondence
 * Copies of I.D. 
 * Proof of Address
 * Copies of Previous bills 

To store a file against a record simply follow these steps:

1. locate the appropriate customer or lead record 
2. From the ribbon along the top of the record select **FILES** 
3. From the **File Manager** window that opens select any files in the usual way that you would add a file
